Who can resist the gorgeous patio's and great outdoor spaces at El Pinto Restaurant in Albuquerque's North Valley? Not me... not Jane either! Here she is looking forward to her first bite of chips and salsa.
El Pinto is a great place to go for New Mexican food. Both red and green chile are great here... and one of my favorites, flan, they make better than any restaurant in town. Okay, just my opinion.
While the weather here now is just starting to feel like spring is in the air, we look forward to a day soon where we can go enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at El Pinto. Actually, their indoor dining rooms are fantastic too, so no need to wait.
This family owned restaurant also cans and distributes their great salsa. They were recently showcased on The History Channel's TV show Food Tech. It was amazing to see how they produce their salsa's and chile's in jars right at the same location as the restaurant. The amount of volume was astonishing.
