We have worked on offers for over 50 short sales for buyers in 2009... with very few of the offers ever getting a response from the bank. One offer we made in April 2009 just got a response at the end of October. Of course, the buyer had already moved on and didn't even realize he still had an offer out on this property.
We've also worked short sales for sellers. Tego has had good success getting contact with the lender and getting answers to short sale offers. The short sale process from a seller perspective requires working diligently to get all of the required paperwork together to have submitted to the bank for consideration.
