Some recent home sales data shows that home sales have increased in Rio Rancho vs. Albuquerque. The Albuquerque Journal had an article in the Rio Rancho section this week summarizing what going on. Rosalie Rayburn who wrote the article called Tracy to get her opinion as to why Rio Rancho is appealing. Here is the quote… “Tracy Venturi, a Realtor with Keller Williams, said Rio Rancho has garnered a reputation for having a good school system and low crime rate, which appeals to in-state and out-of-state buyers. She said buyers who want a new home tend to prefer Rio Rancho because there is a wider selection of new properties, and prices are generally lower than in Albuquerque. Venturi said she has sold about 10 homes in the Loma Colorado community in recent months.” Here is the full article…
