Commercial development and economic growth has stalled a bit for developers in the Ventana Ranch area, but most remain hopeful. During the booming days of home development on the West side of Albuquerque in and around Ventana Ranch, retail growth looked prosperous. With the recent shift in the economy, many of the retail spaces are vacant. Developers remain hopeful that we will start to see a turn in the economy and these empty retail spaces will soon be occupied by tenants.
