For those interested in alternative energy, the grand opening on May 11th of Schott Solar Plant out at Mesa del Sol...is exciting news. This new plant will also help provide economic growth in the Albuquerque Metro area. With almost 300 sunny days a year in Albuquerque, it's possible that the production of Photovoltaic panels will in turn be eventually used in New Mexico. In this day and age, this solar economic growth is beneficial to all.
