South Valley residents vented their concerns about the lack of lighting on their streets at a meeting with Bernalillo County Commissioner Teresa Córdova and Sheriff Darren White on Tuesday night.
White and Córdova spoke to about 30 residents of pedestrian dangers at night in response to the death of Frank Lovato, who was killed on Dec. 29 when a truck hit him as he was walking on the side of the road in the 6900 block of Isleta SW."
